Luna is Usagi's (Serena) cat and guardian. Unlike other cats, Luna can talk, and boy does she always have something to say. She is from the moon kingdom, sent to find, train, and protect Princess Serena who was re-born as Cry Baby Usagi (Serena).

She has moments when other males like her or she likes them throughout the series, however she is in love with Artemis. During the series they have Diana, their little kitten baby.
